We are looking for a talented Instrument Repair Technician – Mobile who is gifted in supporting the needs of our customers at their locations in the Tacoma, WA area. This position is essential in providing a top-notch experience for our healthcare customers as well providing a critical service to ensure surgical instrumentation is ready and safe for patient use.

 Successful candidates for this position will be responsible to:

  • Possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Maintain required vaccines and credentialing requirements for entry to all applicable healthcare facilities.
  • Able to travel overnight 1 - 2 nights per month.

Essential Duties:

  • Inspecting surgical instrumentation and performing appropriate repairs using grinding wheels, buffing wheels, handpieces, hand tools, etc.
  • Support customer needs at each account within assigned territory in conjunction with the sales representative.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, parts & supply inventory, and service vehicle(s) as directed.
  • Responsible for scheduling, pre-service appointment confirmation, travel booking, daily invoicing, and frequent email communications.
  • Updating customer maintenance data of surgical set inventories utilizing internal/external tracking systems to accomplish service goals  

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.
  • Prior Mechanical or Military Background Preferred

We are offering a $750.00 signing bonus after 30 days of employment and another $750.00 bonus after completion of 6 months of continuous employment.
